The Birth of Grace

Pastor James Morrise • Dec 11, 2021

Seasons Greetings Family & Friends,

It's that time of the year when many are excited about receiving and giving gifts. It's also extremely important for Christians who truly understand the reason for this season, to not allow the commercialization of Christmas to take away from the Greatest Gift that was birthed into this world. We can easily confuse this great celebration with chaos and confusion, especially when the pressures of not being able to purchase a gift for your kids, family, and friends exist.

Worrying and wanting to show love to others on this day cannot compare to the joy of Jesus's birth. It's a time to receive and reflect on how blessed we are as a people to receive the Greatest Gift of All, our Savior.

Those who have experienced the loss of loved ones, reflect on those wonderful memories that were created to live for years to come. I pray that the Holy Spirit will comfort all, because truly God sent Joy to this world, with the Gift of His Son Jesus!

Until we pen again, Merry Christmas and a Prosperous New Year from my family to yours!

Is your thankfulness a gift? Sometimes it’s easy to approach thankfulness with a sense of duty.
